Lebanon, it’s a country that suffers from countless problems, and the
people blame the politicians of course, but I most certainly don’t…why? Because
the reason behind all those problems not being fixed is the PEOPLE themselves.
I am proud to be Lebanese because if
you look back to Lebanon before the civil war, it was indeed very different.
Our ancestors are rolling in their graves tight now because of our INDIFFERENCE!
You
know why USA is the number 1 country in the world, because it is the land of
the FREE people!! People express themselves there, fight for what they want. In
Lebanon, we sit and nag all day, but do absolutely NOTHING! Instead of cursing our politicians and not
wanting to vote and nagging all the time, let’s try something else for a
change, let us change the way we live, the way we treat each other, and the way
we see this country, let us start with the simplest of things, like
acknowledging the law. The elections are coming, let us vote for who can and
will help this country prosper, please “Ntekhbo b Damir !!” Don’t say : “Ana
shu jeyine ! Ma bade etdakhal !” Because if we don’t get involved, who will?!
While Lebanon is still struggling to have electricity
or Internet or good economy, other countries landed on MARS! It is the sad truth, but
we must keep on hearing it, keep on facing it, because we should WAKE UP!! We
shouldn't just sit down and say "Shu hal balad ! Shu hal dawle !"
because of course our country will never see the light if we darken our minds
instead of enlightening them, we should have a saying, the elections are
coming, let's make a difference !
But
first, we should start working on ourselves; change our own behaviour, because
if we all do the same thing and begin to work on ourselves, I am 100% that this
country will start experiencing change.
It
needs time, it needs hard work and perseverance, it is very challenging, but
yet, it is possible.

I'm glad to find there are still wise people in Lebanon :) Anyway, I believe the solution is not to allow those who who were ruling the civil war to take part in elections!
